Fiji Gateway Hotel, Nadi (ex Raffles)

Fiji Gateway Hotel is located on the main road, directly opposite the airport entrance. The price has gone up since I last stayed there. The close proximity to the airport makes this a great choice if you are catching an early morning flight - the terminal is walking distance from the hotel. Rooms are nice, however we did think the bathrooms were still quite dated.

Fiji Gateway has 2 pools, this is the bigger one - very nice!

Nice tidy gardens, that's what we like to see.

Facilities:

Two restaurants, two bars and a cafe. They have a couple of swimming pools, a spa pool, and tennis courts. There is also internet available, as well as sky TV. The first thing to strike you, might be the care and attention they have given the gardens. And this will give an indication as to how they run the hotel. Attention to detail, a great restaurant, comfortable and well appointed rooms, with friendly and helpful staff.

Bar & restaurant area, could do with a bit of a reno, but ok.

Accommodation rooms at Fiji Gateway...

With over 95 rooms starting from Deluxe to a Suite, there is plenty to choose from. Especially good for families as some rooms can take up to 5 guests. Plus families with children under 16 years stay free when sharing with their parents - that's pretty good value. Breakfast is not included but you can have a full American Breakfast extra at $25 FJD pp.

You can plug into their high speed WiFi services for FJ$5 per hour, FJ$15 per 24 hours and get a discount for longer purchases. Day use room rates are available, which is handy.

Deluxe Room from $209 FJD per night

Suitable for couples or small families, the room has 1 Queen & 1 single Bed or 2 Queen Beds with a maximum occupancy up to 4. Up to 2 children under 12 years stay free when accompanied by paying adult sharing a room using existing bedding. TV (including inhouse movies/ CNN / local stations), air conditioning, small fridge, tea & coffee facilities, ensuite bathroom, IDD phone, hair dryer, desk, sofa bed, room safe, non-smoking, linen and towels provided.

Deluxe Room is quite roomy, there is another room which you can't see in the photo

Executive Room from $231 FJD per night

Executive rooms have 1 Queen & 1 single Bed with a maximum occupancy of 3. Up to 1 child under 12 years stay free when accompanied by paying adult sharing a room using existing bedding. Has all the same facilities as the Deluxe Room. Bit more modern and spacious.
